Wanna Be a PINK Intern?
PINK delivers career tools, tactics and strategies along with inspiring stories to support women in their efforts toward more success at work and more joy in life. No other global online community, daily e-Note, and events focuses exclusively on professional women's professional development.
PINK is seeking ambitious, smart and enthusiastic interns for Fall 2009 to start mid-August until December. We are currently accepting applications for the following internship positions:
Editorial, Sales/Marketing, Public Relations/Event Planning, Web Development and Graphic Design.
The internship program will be unpaid, but does offer qualifying college students college credit hours where necessary. All interested candidates must be available to work at least two (2) days per week.

Editorial Internships:
Qualifications: Major or minor in journalism, converging communications or English are preferred. Past writing experience is favored. Candidates must be able to work at least two full days per week in our Atlanta office.
Responsibilities:
- Fact Checking
- Writing short articles for the website and/or Little PINK Book
- Conducting interviews and research for articles
- Research potential editorial topics
- Performing administrative tasks, including: data entry, shipping and team support
Sales/Marketing:
Qualifications: Major in sales, marketing, operations or business management preferred. Past working experience in sales and advertising is favored. Candidates must be able to work at least two full days per week in our Atlanta office.
Responsibilities:
- Accompanying sales members to client meetings and on sales calls to pitch PINK advertising and event sponsorship opportunities
- Researching potential clients and assist sales team in securing partnerships and Little Pink Book advertisers
- Creating contracts and proposals to assist in selling sponsorships to PINK events
- Streamlining production process for tracking all print and online advertising
- Performing administrative tasks, including: data entry, shipping and team support
Public Relations/Event Planning:
Qualifications: Majors in marketing, public relations, event planning, or business operations are preferred. Working experience in these above specified areas is favored. Candidates must be able to work at least two full days per week in our Atlanta office.
Responsibilities:
- Working with event planners and marketing team to coordinate PINK events
- Supporting the sales team with updates for PINK's online business community, website and other social media outlets.
- Creating press releases and increasing brand awareness
- Researching women's organizations to assist marketing team form strategic alliances
- Assist in updating media kits and marketing materials with latest research and statistics
- Performing administrative tasks, including: data entry, shipping and team support
Web Development:
Qualifications: Working experience with coding, html format, embedding and flash movie editing is favored. Candidates must be able to work at least two full days per week in our Atlanta office.
Responsibilities:
- Working with marketing team for "Share this " program sending articles articles/blogs from PINK site to various social media platforms (ie., Facebook, Dig, Del.icio.us, Reddit, StumbleUpon, MySpace, etc.)
- Embedding images with html format into e-mails and e-Newsletters
- Assisting marketing team with audio and visual updates for PINK's online community and website
- Back-end coding to grow and organize PINK's online community by creating podcasts, v-casts, interactive downloadable forms and RSS feed management and working knowledge on Adobe Flash
- Managing PINK campaigns in social media formats
- Performing administrative tasks, including: data entry, shipping and team support
Graphic Design:
Qualifications: Applicants preferably should be a 3rd year graphic design student who would be willing to work 10-15hrs a week in our Atlanta office.

- Sales support design
- Organize art inventory and archive images
- Color correct photographs
- Support of the graphic design department
